Process

Made for a special child, using scraps and offcuts from other quilts. Improvisational, based loosely on the Chinese Coins layout, and influenced by antique Ohio Amish crib quilts.

Machine pieced, hand quilted, machine- and hand-bound.
Hand quilted in a clamshell pattern.
Backing is a striped cotton sheet.
